The Albanian Heritage Bookshelf Initiative is a community-driven project dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating Albanian history, culture, language, traditions, and achievements through public access to books and educational resources.

Through this initiative, the Albanian American Club of Westchester partners with local libraries to establish dedicated Albanian Heritage Bookshelves, making books about Albania, Kosovo, Albanian Americans, and Albanian culture available to children, students, families, educators, and community members.

Our goal is simple: to ensure that future generations remain connected to their roots while also introducing the broader community to the rich history, values, and contributions of the Albanian people.

The Albanian Heritage Bookshelf Initiative serves as a bridge between generations, helping young people learn about their heritage while promoting cultural understanding and appreciation within our communities.
